THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL
MOVIE POSTER DESIGN CONCEPT
As part of my end-of-semester exam at the University of Fine Arts, I was given the challenging task of creating a series of unique posters for popular films, but with my own artistic interpretation. Utilizing my graphic tablet and digital art skills in Procreate on an iPad Pro, I set to work on this exciting project.
One of the films that I chose to create a poster for was The Grand Budapest Hotel. I have included both the original movie poster and my own artistic take on it for comparison.
Through experimenting with different styles and techniques, I was able to develop an eye-catching design that captures the essence of the movie while also showcasing my artistic flair. I carefully considered typography, color schemes, and composition, taking great care to ensure that the final poster was both visually striking and conceptually engaging.
This project allowed me to hone my creative abilities while also pushing me to explore new digital art techniques. It was an exciting challenge that allowed me to combine my passion for film with my love of art, resulting in a truly unique and innovative design.
Overall, this project was an exceptional opportunity for me to demonstrate my artistic abilities and put into practice the skills I learned in the course. Through this project, I gained invaluable experience and knowledge that will be useful in my future career as an artist.
